Self Made Active — Women's Activewear and Lifestyle was founded by Summa in Stellenbosch, South Africa.
The brand was created around strength, independence and the belief that women have the power to continually build themselves. Fitness is one expression of that idea. Every workout, every challenge and every decision to keep moving forward contributes to the person we become.
Self Made was created for those women. Women building stronger bodies. Stronger minds. Stronger businesses. Stronger lives.
Our vision is to build a South African fitness and lifestyle brand that women don't simply wear — but identify with.

Summa created Self Made with the ambition of developing a fitness apparel brand representing confidence, independence, strength and progress.
The brand has moved beyond the initial idea. The brand direction has been established. Product sourcing has been established. The first commercial collection has been selected. Self Made is now preparing to move into its commercial launch and growth stage.
